Local Food Year-Round

Grains & Staples CSA

There is an important and timely resurgence of locally grown grains and staples coming from the Hudson Valley and greater Northeast food system. The emergence of localized, circular grain economies promises a healthier source for high-calorie staple crops that have long been a crucial part of our diets. Through strategic grant funding, we are able to make this one-of-a-kind CSA share accessible to our customers.

Glynwood's Grains and Staples CSA connects you with the producers and products at the forefront of this revitalization. Our CSA features a unique selection of regionally sourced whole grains, freshly milled flours, value-added staples, and research and trial varieties that reflect the variety of crops and ingredients grown pridefully by partner farmers in the Northeast. Each pickup includes two different grains or staples, each in 1 to 2 pound bags.

Winter Meat CSA

Glynwood's all-women livestock team raises heritage-breed animals on pasture with the utmost care and highest welfare standards. We are an Animal-Welfare-Approved livestock operation and manage Glynwood's historic land regeneratively. Our species include broiler chickens, laying hens, cows, lamb, pigs, and turkeys, and diets are supplemented with high-quality Organic, non-GMO feed sourced locally in NY State.

Our Meat CSA is the most cost-effective way to enjoy a season full of Glynwood's highly nutritious and delicious pasture-raised meats. Shares feature a curated selection of frozen, retail-portioned cuts, about 10 pounds of meat in each pickup. Members receive exclusive discounts, like taking 10% off all additional meat throughout the program. Shares are not customizable and will fit inside a standard refrigerator's freezer compartment.

This season, we are introducing a new and exciting Fish CSA add-on, only valid to those who enroll in our Meat CSA.
